Who We Are

Flex Funding is a Canadian company dedicated to making capital more accessible for small business owners. Since launching in 2022, Flex Funding has supported hundreds of businesses across the country by facilitating financing through private lenders.

Our mission is to champion entrepreneurship at its roots. While much of the private financing landscape is geared toward high-growth tech startups, Flex Funding focuses on the small businesses that form the backbone of our economy. We support entrepreneurs who are not eligible for venture capital, unable to raise funds through friends and family, or face challenges accessing traditional bank financing.

What We Do

Flex Funding is a Canadian direct funder, providing fast and flexible capital solutions to small businesses. We lend our own capital and work directly with business owners to understand their needs and deliver tailored financing options.

We are not a broker or marketplace — when you apply with us, you’re dealing directly with the source of funding. Loan amounts, terms, and rates are based on our internal underwriting and credit assessment processes, and are subject to change.

Eligibility Requirements

Time in Business: At least 1 year in operation
Monthly Revenue: Minimum $10,000 in gross business revenue
Business Bank Account: Must have an active business checking account
No Open Bankruptcies: Must not have any active bankruptcies
Consistent Revenue: Ideally, consistent or growing monthly sales, especially from credit card or daily deposits
Ownership: Applicant must be the business owner or authorized signer
